Do you need any prior knowledge for any roles, or are you trained from scratch, e.g. REME, Medical Corps, Legal etc?

Thank you for your question.
Most people joining the Army Reserve as an Officer serve in their local unit (which will dictate the capbadge).
Most capbadges will not require you to have previous knowledge, but some such as Army Legal Services would.
The Army Jobs page allows you to type in your details (including whether you wish to join regular or reserve) to enable you to see which roles you could be eligible for.
