During Phase 1 and Trade Training, it will be difficult to balance your personal life, especially with having two children. If joining as an adult, you won't have much free time at Pirbright/Winchester as you only get one long weekend and depeneding on when you joining, depends if you get Easter/Summer/Christmas Leave. During Trade Training, it gets a lot easier as you have the weekends to yourself and the weekday afternoons aswell, aslong as no exercises or activities are planned. Once at unit, it is very easy to balance your personal life. The Army is very accommodating!
