Ellie, Happy new year! I would start getting some miles in the legs, don’t over do it but break in to it steady. The fitter you are on arrival the easier life will be at any phase 1 establishment. If you haven’t already got your kit list, contact your candidate support manager or your local armed forces careers office to see if they are able to send you it. It should be attached to your joining instructions. Check your junk mail as sometimes emails end up there. Apart from that, enjoy yourself until you go! J

AFC Harrogate isn't just a Military Training Establishment, its also a great educational centre. Don't just gothere expecting to do Soldiering stuff. Put everything you've got into it all. Don't treat it like you're at school, learn as much as you can as it will help you in the long term.
