Are there any jobs where you do not have to move away?

You do get three choices of where you wish to be posted once you’ve finished Basic Training and Trade Training. You can select that you don’t wish to be posted overseas but that can change if there are no jobs available in the three locations you picked.
You can extend in a posting location for welfare reasons but that is usually only for a year in experience from friends who have done it.
