If you're already commando trained can you keep your green beret as a reservist?

I wasn't too sure on this one, but I happened to be talking to a RM when I saw your question.
I am told that you keep you green beret and just change the cap badge. Your reservist unit should be able to provide more direction on this when you join.

If you are Commando trained and go to a Reserve Unit where the green lid is worn - 131 etc. then you can keep your green beret. In units where the green lid isn't worn, then it's Commando flash only.
