Is it possible to re-do GCSE's in the army? Also, can you learn more than one trade in the engineers?

Hi. Thanks for the question. There is support to do GCSEs while in the Army, although the majority will be through self-motivation and in your own time.
In terms of learning more than one trade - each soldier learns one trade (from a huge selection) however once you have gone through the training pipeline (basic training, combat engineer training, trade training) there are then opportunities to conduct further courses (not necessarily a new trade) for example the dive course, P Company, the commando course and it is not unusual for soldier to have completed several of these courses. But no you wouldn't do training as a plumber and then conduct training as an electrician - the Army needs you to be very good at the one trade. Hope that helps.
