Paul,
Most jobs in the British Army now offer some level of apprenticeship. As a result, the GCSE requirements set out on the role finder at https://apply.army.mod.uk/roles are what you will need to start an apprenticeship with us. The educational requirements for each apprenticeship is different though so please take a look.
In any case, you should always strive to be the very best you can be. It is my personal belief that if you are capable of getting GCSEs, A-Levels or a higher level of education you should. You will find there are many more opportunities available to you both in the British Army and elsewhere if you can display your educational prowess through qualifications.
Good luck, and please, finish your GCSEs.
Greg
