Do I need any further academic qualifications besides GCSEs to become a Combat Medical Technician?

Additional information
I've been told by my school that I need 120 UCAS points to apply but as I'm only 17 that's very out of my reach. Even my AS qualifications are far off from hitting that.

Hello,
To apply as a CMT you need GCSE Grade A*–C/9-4 in at least English Language and Maths. You do not need any other academic qualifications.
Your school may have confused a CMT with an Army nurse as 120 UCAS points is the entry requirement for a student nurse.
All entry requirements for roles can be found on our website, I have included the link for CMTs below.
