I want to be on the front line but also want to do something tech/mechanic related what roles offer that flexibility?

I would also like to continue my career and get my wings and when I’m ready try for SF. I’m just stuck with what roles can lead to this, I love the though of being a soldier but also would love to be a mechanic or someone technical

Hi Tyler, If you want to get close to the action and be a mechanic then you should look into the REME. We have soldiers imbedded with every Army unit as we are required to repair and maintain their kit and equipment - this includes SF. You will also have the opportunity to attempt P Coy, the All Arms Course and a vast array of other arduous courses throughout your career if you wish to.
