I'm torn between applying to be a Military Intelligence Operator as a Soldier in the Int Corps or, alternatively, applying to RMA Sandhurst and applying to be an Officer. What should I be taking into consideration to make this decision?

Liam,
There are many aspects to consider. However, all specialist roles in the Int Corps are open to both officers and soldiers. Essentially the key difference is if you want to be the management and direction behind the intelligence team (Officer) or undertaking the intelligence work in itself (soldier).
Also consider, at RMAS you get to nominate which corps you would like to apply for, they will interview you but may choose not to accept you after interview. As a soldier you have the ability to choose which role you would like to apply for. You can also commission from soldier to officer if recommended and found suitable.
Hope this helps.

That's great, cheers Arthur.
Is there anything you could recommend I could do to give me the best chance of being an Intelligence Soldier before applying?

Yes,
Brush up on GCSE English and start reading global affairs and news. Have a look at what's going on in the world, not just the UK.
If you are uncomfortable with public speaking, I would recommend preparing a 10 minute presentation for your friends/family on a random subject and practice delivering to an audience.
