Additional information

I am curious about the level of experience in physiotherapy needed prior to applying for the role physiotherapist officer. How much post graduate experience is required?

Hello,

I personally don't know enough about physiotherapy applications to answer this, but I asked a physio colleague what they thought.

She felt you would stand a better chance of getting in if you had completed your band 5 rotations as entry is quite competitive at the moment. She also felt you would find it beneficial as it is helpful for dealing with more complex patients. If you do join without your band 5 rotations then your first posting is likely to be at the QE Hospital in Birmingham.

I hope that helps, if you have any more questions please let me know, or alternatively you can contact the army medical services recruitment team, their phone number is available on their website https://www.army.mod.uk/who-we-are/corps-regiments-and-units/army-medical-services/
