How does being a reservist work in line with your day job?
Additional information
So I am thinking of becoming an infantry reservist. There is a reserve unit just a mile down the road from my workplace so this would be ideal for me to work there. I don't drive (yet) and I commute to work on the train. If I was to work an evening after work. What kit will I need to bring/what kit do I get as a reservist. Do I have to change into my Army uniform beforehand or can I change into this on base?

It very much works around your day job. There is a minimum commitment of 27 days per year and some milestones you must reach in order to qualify for the annual bounty. Most units work off one night a week and one weekend a month. Good luck with your decision.
