The exact differences i am unsure of but the main difference is although they are both qualified nurses a nursing officer will take up more of an adminitrative role to ensure the troops are trained correctly and deal with a lot of operations management, however officer roles can vary. Whereas a nursing soldier would be expected to work more in a field hospital or treatment facility closer to the frontline to provide the care and support needed but as i said both are trained so would still have to keep up on your portfolio.
