Hi Matthew,

Sorry, it only says GPST2 as that is where I am now, I did GPST1 first. GDMO is certainly a good build up to GP training, but does not count towards it.

Ah that’s helpful to know, thank you. I wondered if it counted as part of a GP CESR entry. Is it minimum of 3 years GDMO before speciality training or can you go sooner?

In recent years you have been able to go sooner (after 2 years) for specialties that were understaffed (GP and Psych), but I am not sure if that will change now that GP has become fully staffed. You are sometimes able to go sooner if you have prior military experience as well.
