Great question!
Like most job roles in the Armed Forces it can vary, its almost certain that in your time if you pursue it you will be using your skills abroad. for example on training exercises or operations but not on a permanent basis, unless you apply for a unit that is based overseas. As well as doing your job abroad you will still likely to have opportunities to travel and conduct adventurous training as well.
