Looking to become an armourer in REME,16 years old. College first to do Arboriculture. Should do Engineering instead?

To join the REME as a soldier there is no requirement for previous Engineering experience or qualifications. Obviously any prior knowledge will be an advantage. Further learning in any subject will be advantageous as it will set you up well for the level you will need to be at for Trade training.
