I'm sure you get questions like this a lot but is there an ideal role for a 35 year old joining as a reservist?

I can pass the fitness tests etc. but there's a part of me that still thinks it's a young person's game.

Thanks for your question. It's worth contacting your local Army Reserve unit. Joining the Reserves you can give as much or as little of your spare time and depending on the Reserve unit closest to you will depend on what they do for example a Royal Signals (communications) Reserve unit will be different from a Infantry Reserve unit. Hope this helps. If you google British Army Reserves you will be able to see what/where your local units are.
