How do you become a sapper? Airborne or commando I am interested in both.

Combat Medical Technician
A Sapper is the first rank you get within the Royal Engineers (RE) after your phase 1 training. The commando courses and parachute courses will be done after you have learnt your trade, these courses are also available outside of the RE to and are covered by any career stream should there be a need for it.
