Additional information
I am currently trying to decide which role would be best for me. Both appeal to me but I feel like I need more information of both roles and what the training, lifestyle and opportunities are like. Are you able to join sports in both and do trips away? What is the progression like for both?

Hi Charlie, I'm unsure what life is like as aviation ground crew Specialist, as i'm a member of the RLC. Movement Controller is a great role, if you like to travel, they deploy to other countries on a week basis.
Movement Controllers are responsible for directing and controlling the movement of personnel and equipment by air, road, rail and sea in support of operations and exercises. Its a busy role with great promotion opportunities.
Phase 2 training is 7 weeks long, which takes place at RAF Brize Norton. You will learn to monitor transport, put movement plans into action and enforce movement regulations.
Sport is massive in the Army, whatever role you chose, you will be able to take apart in sport on a weekly basis.
The Army website is a great way to find out more information on roles. https://jobs.army.mod.uk/
