Hi Ben - I'd always recommend doing what you want to do, especially in terms of courses/education, as it's always good to get more qualifications. I don't know the full syllabus of public service course, however I've given presentations at public services courses. Even disregarding the course content, it should give you more confidence in yourself to proceed which always helps. During or after your course you could apply for either AFC Harrogate or senior entry at ATR Winchester or ATC Pirbright (depending on your age) if it's still of interest to you. If you've got any more questions just ask.

Hi ben,

If that is what you are interested in doing then go for it!

I left school with very little qualifications as the army is what I set out to do. I did my training at the infantry training centre and I gained a public services qualification whilst there. I have gone on to achieve a vast amount of various academic and working qualifications whilst serving in the infantry
