Technical Support Specialist - Senior Instructor
Good Morning,
At the point of joining there is no difference in pay. Once you progress further into your career the Army Pay Supplements Scales come into effect. They run from level 1 - 4. Technicians are Supplement 3, TSS are supplement 2. The difference early on is a few hundred pounds a year.
You can see the detail of the pay structure here:

In terms of becoming a Technical Support Specialist or any REME trade, the careers office will start the process which will take you through Phase 1 training followed by Phase 2 training at MOD Lyneham. After this you will be posted to the field force in your relevant role.
Regards,
Jay
