There are no Combat roles within the REME. That is the job of the Teeth Arms, Infantry and Cavalry Etc. We are there to support them and their equipment. Depending on what trade you are and which unit you are posted to will dictate how close you get to any combat situation. Soldier first, Tradesman always.
