Sergeant. Corps Nurture Team SNCO

You could be posted to a Commando or Para Unit.

Serving in 3 Commando Brigade is a unique experience, both challenging and
rewarding and one that you will struggle to find elsewhere within the Corps. The RLC
has postings at Logistic Support (LS) Squadron Commando Logistic Regiment, 24
Regiment Royal Engineers, and 29 Regiment Royal Artillery as well as HQ 3
Commando Brigade. Most RLC ranks serve at the LS Sqn, which is held
permanently on five days’ notice to move as part of the Lead Commando Group
(LCG). There are plenty of deployment opportunities, both on ship and overseas
every year, with runs ashore all over the world.

13 Air Assault Support Regiment (13AASR) provides logistic support primarily
to 16 Air Assault Brigade, elements of the Regiment also support UK Special Forces.
Regimental personnel are part of and uphold a strong military ethos and spirit that is
influenced by the airborne nature of 16 Brigade. An ethos and spirit that won’t be found in
any other RLC Regiment. It is the only RLC Regiment not to wear the RLC flash, instead
wearing its’ own DZ (Drop zone) Flash in the distinctive Red and Black. We wear the maroon
beret of the Airborne Forces and a significant number of our officers and soldiers are Para
trained.
