Hi there, does the RLC offer any force protection on convoys or any other opportunities?

Hi Michael. Thanks for your question.
The Royal Logistic Corps supports the Army, both in peacetime and on operations. This might include parts to repair vehicles equipment and weapons, ammunition, fuel, food and water.
The RLC maintains the Army's ability to continue operations, providing the right kit to the right place, in the right condition, in the right order at the right time. This supply chain takes place from the factory right through to soldiers fighting on the front line and so RLC soldiers (as all soldiers) are trained as soldiers first, tradesmen second.
RLC soldiers work with all units of the British Army and are deployed worldwide supplying units with what they need for operations.
