Paul
Intelligence Officer
Hi Harrison, thank you for your question.
The Intelligence Corps comes under Combat Support, so it provides direct support to the combat arms. As a result you may find yourself supporting an Infantry Company when they go on patrol and potentially see combat while in this role.
On the other hand, you may find yourself working in a HQ, supporting operations but with limited chance of seeing combat.
The role is extremely varied and each posting comes with its own challenges. You will have the chance to shape your career and be given many opportunities to deploy on operations and travel the world.
I hope this helps,
Paul
