Can you Perform with the musicians or practice whilst learning another trade such as infantry or REME Vehicle mechanic ?

i want to go in the army apart of REME As a VM but want to also take part in sports and music is it still possible?

Absolutely! There will always be scope for play sport or carry on your hobby with your instrument. A lot of regiments have bands that you will be able to jam with. In my regiment, we have a platoon know as the drums who do most ceremonial guard mounts alongside the military band. They also double role as the assault pioneer platoon helping infantry fighting companies with plant for trench digging, explosive entry for building clearance and so on.
Sport is huge across the whole army and the potential to travel and try new sports across the board.
