Tori C.
Regimental Medical Officer
Hello,
A Combat Medical Technician completes a phase 2 course, following this they become a Class 2 Combat Medical Technician, with a level 3 Diploma and Care Certificate. More details can be found on the Army website https://apply.army.mod.uk/roles/army-medical-service/combat-medical-technician.
Some CMTs will become EMT qualified (Emergency Medical Technician), and some CMTs will go on to become qualified paramedics through the Army.
I hope that answers your question.
