Hi George,
Thanks so much for your question.
I think all three services offer a very rewarding career as a pilot but the job role in each varies quite a bit.
For me I don't really like the idea of being at sea for long periods of time so the FAA wasn't really an option I was interested in. I also was interested in flying rotary rather than fixed wing and generally speaking, the AAC specialises in rotary. I spent some time in the Reserves whilst I was at university too and so I felt that I already had my mind set on the Army rather than the RAF. I would say that if you're interested in having a career such as airline pilot after the military the the RAF is usually the best option as you will have the potential the get the majority of your hours on fixed wing.
