Why are air dispatch in the Army and not RAF?
Additional information
I would love to be in the back of a Hercules as a job. I thought the RAF would be the best option but it looks as though the Army do the job instead. Why is it a job for the Army and not the RAF? Also, if I were successful with being put in this role, would I be part of a Squadron in Brize or would we be kept separate from the RAF Squadron?

I believe it will be because they use to be part of the Army Air Corps but being part of the logistical supply chain they now fall under RLC, so whenever we can't get our supplies to the guys on the ground by land or sea, well we have the Air Dispatch that will do this. Also Air dispatch is very unique as they are the only ones that do this across all services which means that they support everyone.
If you were successful you could either be at Brize Norton or over at 13 Air Assault Regiment in Colchester.
