Hi thank you for your query.
Once you done with your phase 1 and phase 2 training if you got posted near to your home their is no such restriction like you have to stay at accommodation as long you are happy to travel on daily basis you can stay at home.Their are many benefits to accommodate at camp as if you finish late or early start you can have some good rest, getting refresh after pt session having your personal shower, keeping all military kit its helpful if u needed some thing in emergency .
But again its all personal preferences.
