Hi, start researching the history behind the regiment and also the fitness standards required for the assessment centre and for recruit training if successful. The army website has a lot of this information. With physical training, you have plenty of time at this point to prepare, so train smart and progressively, you don't need injuries before you have even started! However, remember a required fitness pass mark is the lowest standard pass, always strive to pass with the best possible grade you can get and this attitude will set you up well for recruit training and beyond.
