I work as a carpenter and am interested in the Paras. Are there roles within the barracks to work as a carpenter?

Additional information
I’m a site carpenter trained in all types of roofing and first and second fix joinery with my own large tool kit. If I made it into the regiment as a combat soldier could I continue work as a carpenter when not doing the usual day to day task (PT, courses, lessons, target practise etc etc)

Unfortunately not. The carpentry in camp is done by civilian contractors, and in the field it is done by the royal engineers. That being said you can do what you want in your free time
