1. Do I need to pay to get into Harrogate. If so, how much do I need to pay? 2. Do I require IGCSEs?

Hi, Harrogate is the Army Foundation College in Harrogate (North Yorkshire). It's fundamentally designed as a college but for Junior Soldiers (U18s) so you start your army training there. You also have lessons such as Maths, English and IT and things like leadership theory mixed in with army training (drill, weapon handling, exercises, physical training etc) . You don't pay for it but will actually be paid from the day you start - approx £1000 per month.
The job role you are interested in post Harrogate will depend on the GCSEs you have. There are opportunities at Harrogate to gain civilian qualifications (incl driving theory (which is paid for by the army).
