Good Afternoon and thankyou for your question
I wouldn't say it's difficult to get into, as long as you meet the standards required and are keen to learn, you should be able to achieve some great things.
The training can be difficult, but it's so rewarding, and it will all be done at a steady pace that's manageable and that will allow you to learn.
I would certainly recommend joining the household Cavalry, after 9 years service I'm still thoroughly enjoying the variety and great opportunities my job gives me.
If you have any further questions feel free to ask or to get in contact with your local Army Careers Centre
