Reservist Brigade SO2 SPS
Hi, as AGC (SPS) there are lots of opportunities, although this does depend on your unit. For example all soldiers in my Detachment deployed to Estonia for 4mths each - they could have gone for 8mths but in order for everyone to have an opportunity they deployed for the 4 mths. Some did AGC (SPS) roles out there and others did roles that the Royal Artillery do (as that's the unit we were serving with). We get the best of both worlds as you can do things with the unit that you're serving with and the Corps. As a sporting opportunity, i got to play hockey with the Royal Artillery as the unit i served with even though i'm AGC (SPS). Also, as the AGC is such a massive Corps there are loads of opportunities to do all kinds of sports even as a complete novice. I hope this helps.
