Additional information
Hello, I am wondering what the army offers when it comes to living with the girlfriend on base, how long postings are, and the overall work life balance. (Mrs making me ask this)

Hello,
It is possible to register that you are in a long term relationship with your admin team once you join. This will enable you to apply for housing at your postings.
It depends on your role, but most postings are every 3 years. Again, it depends on your role how likely you are to move location on each posting.
Work life balance when you are in the UK is usually good - it may vary, but on the whole most soldiers are finished by 1630 each day, often earlier on fridays. You will have to go away sometimes, this may be up to 6 months or even longer. And similarly you may go on shorter exercises within the UK for a couple of weeks at a time, so not all your weekends will be free.
You get a generous amount of leave, but this may be at set times (usually similar to school holidays) - again, flexibility with leave varies depending on your role.
