Recruiting Co-Ordinator at ACC Norwich
Good Afternoon and thanks for your question.
Unfortunately, joining the Royal Navy is different from joining the British Army. They have a different system for recruiting and training. This site in particular is for information on the British Army.
If you would like some more information on similar jobs we offer however, you could have some incredible opportunities in the Army working as a mariner or marine engineer that can give you some incredible qualifications whilst working in the similar area to what you'd expect from the Navy. As well as this, there are over 200 other job roles in the British Army which you could look at as potential options too. If you're interested in joining the Marines, it would definitely be worth looking into joining the Parachute regiment as an alternative, a very rewarding career would await and one which could give you no end of opportunities throughout.
If you're unsure of which service to join, you're more than welcome to have an application going for more than one at the same time, this way you can really assess your options and then come to a decision on what you'd prefer to do, there's really no reason not to explore and see what's available!
Hope this helps and if you have any other questions then feel free to ask.
