Want to join as a full MO, but also want to be a reservist officer while studying instead UOTC. Is that possible?

You have to do either UOTC or reserves to qualify for a bursary if you are claiming for it, although UOTC is preferred either can be done. If you are not claiming for a bursary there is no requirement to do either.
