Hi, the basic training teaches you all the foundations of becoming a soldier. You get taught things like map reading, first aid and personal weapon training. I really enjoyed it and as I progressed in my career eight years after doing the training as a new recruit I returned to be an instructor, teaching the new recruits. Approach it with a positive attitude as this is just as important as your ability. The training staff are there to help your become the best soldier you can be.
