Good evening Finley,
Typically a Signals Officier is unlikely to find themselves in a combat role.
In the Army, regardless of Trade/Role, we are all Soldiers first and Trade second. So anything is possible.
This being said, whilst we consistently revising our training to best prepare for any eventuality, we haven't actually been involved in any combat role for around 10 years to date.
