Hello,
I am afraid I don't have much to do with recruiting but I will try my best to answer your question!
I am not too sure what you mean by technical tests. All soldiers will undergo the (mostly) the same assessments at the assessment centre. The British Army website has details on what to expect, but it does include physical and mental tests. You may not be required to do the numeracy and literacy test if your GCSE grades are high enough, and only RE, REME, Signals and RLC (so not HCAs) will do the technical selection test.
If by technical tests you mean a test of your skills as a HCA, then no, the assessment centre is to assess your suitability as a soldier, rather than your clinical skills.
I hope that helps!
