Hello,
Thanks for the interest.
I don't want to come across as condescending, but 12 is still a young age and you have plenty of time to look at your career in the future. Your main focus now needs to be your education. In fact, the best way to head towards a career in the army is the same as any career; study hard and you will be rewarded. The better your qualifications, the more job choices are available to you.
In order to see if life in the army is something that would suit you, why not look at joining the Army Cadet Force. This is a fantastic youth organisation that is sponsored by the army and allows young people to experience a taste of what it is like to be in the army. Visit https://armycadets.com/ for more information.
I, like many of the people I work with, was an Army Cadet. It was doing this that ultimately took me down the path of being a Royal Military Police Officer as opposed to joining a civilian police force.
Good luck with whatever path you choose.
