Corporal, Adjutant General's Corps, Staff and Personnel Support AGC(SPS).
Hello. Thank you for your question.
I am not a Combat Med Tech but I have noticed your question has been unanswered so I will give you some general advice.
The qualifying criteria you need to become a CMT is GCSE Grades A*-C/9-4 in at least English Language and Maths so make sure you have the correct grades. You must complete a Mid thigh pull at 46kgs, Medicine ball throw at 3.1m and 2km run in 11m 15s (11m 30s for Junior entry). To prepare for the fitness tests at the Assessment centre, download the ArmyFit app on apple or android devices.
My general advice for Basic training is to keep positive, work as a team and work hard. This will make the experience easier for you.
I know a few CMT's in the Army and they really enjoy the job so I wish you luck if you choose to apply.
I'm sorry your question wasn't answered sooner
Zoe
