I am looking to join as a combat medical technician. Before lockdown I went to the gym but I do need to work on my fitness. What would you reccomend for increasing fitness for the army?

Clarissa,
Throughout this period, try and get out whenever you can and get some mileage in the legs. Try and mix things up, have a look on YouTube for a workout and do it at home if you like!
If you are able to get out running, try and log in on an app called strava so your local armed forces careers office can check your progress throughout the application process.
Test yourself with a 2km best effort once a week if possible and save via strava as this will help when it comes to booking you on assessment centre if you are applying as a regular soldier.
If you have any further questions
Don’t hesitate in asking.
Stay safe
