Intelligence Officer

Good afternoon.

The specialisms we offer are generally tied to types of single source intelligence. Officers are usually generalists who post across these specialisms, but there are opportunities to spend a significant period of time with one type of intelligence source. They are mainly, but not limited to:

- Operational Intelligence
- Human Intelligence
- Imagery Intelligence
- Signals Intelligence
- Materiel and Personnel Exploitation
- Open Source Intelligence
- Counter Intelligence and Security

I myself have always been posted to Operational Intelligence, or 'OPINT' roles. These have focused on analysis using multiple different sources of intelligence to inform a range of Commanders or 'customers' either on exercise or on operations.
