I'm not an engineer so I asked an expert and she said: Daily! In Regimental Duty you are constantly training for your next commitment. This will always include revision of basic soldiering skills and also Combat Engineers Skills. If you are due to deploy on a Construction exercise or are required for UK operations you may find that you are doing far more training on your trade. Whenever you are deployed on operations or exercise the time is split depending on the requirement. The bottom line is you are a soldier first and foremost, Combat Engineer and Tradesman so your time will be split as required. I hope that helps.
