Definitely. Being physically active is an important part of serving in the Army. A legal officer is expected to meet the same physical standards as everybody else, and physical training is an important part of your working day. Some of our legal officers have completed the Army Commando Course, others have completed "P" Company. We also get the same opportunities to play sport and take part in adventurous training as the rest of the Army. A number of our officers compete in regimental or Army teams, or take part in sporting competitions of one variety or another. Amongst others, we have a Captain who is in the Army sailing team, a major who represents the Corps in women's rugby, a captain who represents the Corps in downhill skiing, a captain who won gold in the Army, Veterans and Emergency Services Brazilian Jiu Jitsu championships (having only taken it up recently) and a captain who has represented the Army in Rugby 7s.
