I would really consider downloading the 100% Army Fit app (can get on all devices) and follow the training program. It's really easy to use and will get you to a comfortable place fitness wise prior to joining. Remember that Harrogate aren't expecting you to turn up as Ninja Warriers (although you'll always get a few) but will take you through fitness training gradually - you just need to make sure you're at the minimum fitness standard to start or you'll really struggle. The fitter you are the easier all training will be (and more enjoyable as you can look forward to PT rather than dread it!) Good luck
