Non officer ranks can all have leadership roles; from being a Section Commander as a Corporal. The higher up you go the more people you have to lead.
As a Company Sgt Maj (CSM) you would work with the Platoon Commander as their right hand person and together with the Coy Comd. Regardless of capbadge all soldiers have the opportunity to lead and manage individuals. Soldiers throughout their careers also achieve management and leadership civillian recognised and accredited qualifications from a Level 2 Award in Team Leading to a Level 6 Certificate in Professional Management and Leadership (as examples). I hope this helps.
