The Army is really looking into it's accommodation offer under the new Future Army Accommodation model. During basic training you would live in the block with everyone else (regardless of whether you're married or single) however after Basic training where you live is up to you - you could live in the Single living accommodation on camp, you could privately rent a flat/house etc. You could apply for a surplus quarter (army house) if there's any available in the location of where you are posted. Often if individuals have children but aren't with their partner (who the children spend more time with) any more then they will apply for a surplus quarter so they have somewhere to have their children. I hope this helps.
